Councillor Ward 1
Randy Chase has been part of this community since 1986, when he met his wife Patricia and moved to Magaguadavic Lake. He has called this his home for the past 36 years, over half of his life.
He feels strongly that lending a helping hand and being involved in the implementation of the Harvey Rural Community is vital. Residents take pride in their communities and rightfully so. Voicing the concerns for those residents when they arise is a top priority. We must also focus on maintaining our local Ambulance, Fire, Policing and schools to keep the area attractive for those who may wish to relocate here.
He and Patricia have lived at the same address all these years and raised two loving and caring children, who attended school in Harvey from preschool to graduation.
His work has been in the construction sales industry for over 30 years, currently employed with Arrow Construction Products Limited. This work provided the opportunity to meet many great people who taught him respect for, not only others and what they do, but also for himself. He was told to never undercut himself and his abilities.
He has always loved playing and being involved in sports from a young age and today still plays hockey, golf and fishing.
He is currently involved in the following organizations.
- SJ Construction Assoc (Past President)
- ACI Atlantic Chapter (Past President), current board adviser
- NB Road Builders and Heavy Civil Construction (President)
His most important contributions to volunteer work:
- Harvey Fire Department (current)
- Harvey Memorial Recreation Center (past)
- Magaguadavic Lake Association
- Heart & Stroke
- Children’s Wish Foundation
