Pursuant to section 15(4) of the Local Governance Act, SNB 2017, c. 18, Public Notice is hereby given that the Council Harvey Rural Community intends to repeal By-Law 2023-07 ” A By-law respecting the duties and powers of the Chief Administration Officer and the relationship between council, the Chief Administration Officer and the employees of the Rural Community” in its entirety and replace it with By-Law No. 2026-01 “A By-Law Respecting the Duties and Powers of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)”.
The proposed By-Law Amendments serve to:
- more clearly define duties and powers of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
Any person may obtain a copy of the proposed by-law at the Harvey Rural Community Office, from 9:00 to 4:00 Monday to Friday excluding civic holidays. Harvey Rural Community will give consideration to the third and final reading of the proposed By-law at the March 9th , 2026, regular meeting of Council commencing at 7:00 p.m. at the HMCC Boardroom.
