Pursuant to section 15(4) of the Local Governance Act, SNB 2017, c. 18, Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of Harvey Rural Community intends to enact By-Law #2025-01, 2025-02 & 2025-03
The proposed By-Law Amendments serve to:
Change the definition for ‘garden suite’, add definitions for ‘garage suite’ and ‘secondary suite’, amend or add general provisions for these uses, and amend the residential and rural zones in each plan to permit these uses in conjunction with a single detached dwelling.
Any person may obtain a copy of the proposed by-law at the Harvey Rural Community Office, from 9:00 to 4:00 Monday to Friday excluding civic holidays. Harvey Rural Community will give consideration to the third reading of the proposed By-law at the June 9th, 2025, regular meeting of Council commencing at 7:00 p.m. at the HMCC Boardroom.
