There are many great options in the community to get out and get active! Harvey prides itself on encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle for all residents, which is highlighted by our consistently outstanding performance in the annual ParticipACTION challenges.

  • Harvey Memorial Community Centre (HMCC)
  • Curling Club
    • Club space has a bar, kitchen, and area to hold 50-75 people
    • Curling starts late November, runs until April.

  • Wellness in Motion
    • Join an invigorating hour-long exercise class targeted for those 55+! This group meets every Monday and Friday at 9AM in the Harvey Memorial Community Center Gymnasium. (Classes will resume in September)
  • Men’s Pickup Basketball
    • Every Monday from 8-9:30PM at the HHS Gym (no games on August 5th)
    • Free and open to anyone in Grade 9 or above.
  • Women’s Pickup Basketball
    • Every Wednesday from 8-9:30PM at the HHS Gym.
    • Free and open to anyone in Grade 9 or above.
  • Co-Ed Pickup Volleyball
    • Every Tuesday from 8-9:30PM at the HHS Gym.
    • Free and open to anyone in Grade 9 or above.
  • Men’s Summer League Basketball
    • Every Thursday until August 29th (August 8th games have been moved to August 5th).
    • Game times of 7PM and 8:20PM.
  • HIIT Class
    • Mondays and Wednesdays, from 7-8PM, and Saturdays from 9-10AM, in the HMCC Gymnasium.
    • HIIT (High-intensity interval training) is a training protocol alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with brief recovery periods.
